It's been a while

It has been 3 weeks since I last posted pictures and a blog. I guess that's what happens when I go back to work. Anyway, this past weekend we had a few people over. Alan parents are up visiting from Guatemala for a few weeks. The first picture is us stuffing and addressing envelopes for their quarterly newsletter. They have so many contacts that it takes a few people to get the job done. The time went fast as we caught up and watched some football.

The next picture is Cole Koegle. We had our good friends Mike and Renelle with Cole over for dinner on Friday night. While we were playing cards at the table, Cole pulled all the plastics forks out and spread them around the room. He is soo cute!! It's fun to see him so interested in things we take for granted, like a straw.

The last picture are our friends Neal, Carrie and Ari Schneider. Carrie and I teach first grade together and Neal teaches 4th grade at another elementary school close by. It was fun to hang out with them outside of work. Ari looks like he's ready for modeling in this picture by the way he is posing for the camera.

Anyway, that's it for now. I hope to blog a lot sooner next time. Don't hestitate to send a comment my way so I can see who's been checking out the blog.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year!!

Alan and I had some good friends from college, Mike and Julie, over for New Year's Eve. We played lots of games, ate yummy food and watched the ball drop at midnight.
We have been fortunate enough to spend the past few New Years with them. I think we'll make it a tradition if we're all in town.

We hope every one had a safe and pleasant New Year.
I like what we were reminded in church this morning; to be salt and light on this earth. What a good goal for this new year! If you have a chance, read through Matthew 5:13-15 today. It is a great reminder as to how we should act as Christians on earth. God Bless your New Year!

Love,
Alan and Sarah
